1 Chicken - cut up
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. garlic pepper
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. paprika
1½ cups buttermilk
2 eggs
1½ tsp baking powder
¾ tsp baking soda
Olive oil
Preheat Oven 350 degrees:
In a baking pan, whisk together flour, garlic pepper, sugar and paprika. In a medium size bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, baking powder and baking soda until smooth.
Dip each piece of chicken into buttermilk mixture, shaking off excess. Roll in flour mixture and then dip into buttermilk and flour mixture a second time. Place in baking pan and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake about 50-55 minutes or until chicken is golden.
This is a delicious oven fried chicken. You will be asked to make it again!

I have to try Oven Fried Chicken! It is much healthier but it sure looks delicious! Your oven fried chicken always look very crispy and as if you have fried in the oil. Beautiful!

I love fried chicken. I season my chicken heavily, then soak in the buttermilk all day. Then I dip into the seasoned flour. Mine looks just like yours. I dont make it very often but the family has begged me to do it for the 4th of July.
Oh! The oven fried chicken look so yummie, and soooo tasty...
