Meatloaf!


Ingredients:

3 lbs. ground beef
2 cups of fresh breadcrumbs – (made from hard Italian bread and seasoned to taste)
3 eggs
4 cloves garlic - chopped
½ cup - fresh parsley – chopped
½ cup - left over mashed sweet potatoes
Dashes – black pepper
Dashes – dried oregano
Dashes - paprika
1 tablespoon - soy sauce
1 tablespoon - Teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon - Worcestershire Sauce

Glaze;

2 tablespoons - Ketchup
1 tsp - brown sugar
1 tsp – soy sauce
1 tsp – Teriyaki sauce
1 tsp – Worcestershire Sauce

Preheat Oven – 350 degrees:

In a large bowl combine all of the ingredients for the meatloaf and mix well. Form the meat into a loaf shape and place in a baking dish. Combine all of the ingredients for the glaze in a small dish and brush over the top of the meatloaf.

Place in the oven and bake about 55-60 minutes.

This is so delicious and oh so satisfying!

There is nothing that beats a good meatloaf dish. When it is cold like this, served along side some good mashed potatoes, it is the ultimate comfort food too.

My husband will love this! I don't know why I never use teriyaki in meatloaf...that's a fantastic idea.
