Ingredients:
2 lbs. boneless chicken breast – sliced thin
Crust:
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 eggs – beaten with a splash of water
2 cups Panko crumbs
Vegetable oil – for frying – plus 2 garlic cloves - halved
Dip the chicken first in the flour then the egg wash and then in the Panko. Repeat this process until all of the chicken is coated.
In a large frying pan heat about ½ inch deep with vegetable oil plus the garlic cloves. Place the chicken strips in the hot oil carefully and turn only once. Cooking time depends on how thin the chicken breast is sliced.
These chicken strips will make a big hit at your table. Make enough!
Enjoy with much Love and Happiness!

I haven't tried the Pnko bread crumbs yet. I've done similar with Italian seasoned crumbs. Then I slop a little spaghetti sauce with some slices of mozzarella cheese and melt the cheese under the broiler. Kinda like chicken parmasean.
Looks super crispy and yummy!
Oh gosh if you haven't tried panko yet your food life isn't complete! I promise you'll love it ;)
Love panko! Your chicken looks so crispy!
Love your blog! I just discovered it - these chicken strips look amazing, wow!
Panko is my favorite chicken breading! Yum.
So crunchy and delicious Catherine! One of my favorites. Hope you have a lovely weekend! xoxo
I definitely prefer panko breadcrumbs over the regular ones. The chicken looks so light n crispy!

This sure looks light and crispy. Last time I did fried chicken, I used applesauce instead of eggs for some sweetness.
These look wonderful. It is hard to beat panko as a crumb coating for fried food. Have a great weekend. Blessings...Mary
Its an interesting idea to put garlic cloves in the oil, haven't seen this being done before
My son would adore these! Thanks for the recipe.
Thank you for stopping by my blog with such a nice comment. I haven't visited yours before, so I came, I saw, I read, I browsed, and I put it on my google reader so I can return often. Lots to love over here...starting with this panko chicken but definitely not limited to it! Looking forward to stealing lots of recipes from you and serving the results to my family. Thank you in advance!
Catherine, this sounds so good! Especially the idea of putting the garlic in the oil! But, I am such a chicken with frying; I hate hot grease! I think it is out to get me! LOL! I'm going to have to sneak over to your house for a taste of this one. hee hee. Blessings ~ Tanna
