Easy!! Oven Fried Potatoes!!!


Ingredients:

5 lbs. of potatoes – peeled and quartered
Olive oil

Seasonings:

Dashes of:

Garlic powder
Fresh ground black pepper
Salt
Paprika
Chili powder
Dried oregano

Preheat Oven 350 Degrees:

Pat-dry the potatoes with a paper towel and place in a large baking dish. Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes.

In a small bowl combine dashes of the seasonings and sprinkle over the potatoes. Season the potatoes to your taste. Toss the potatoes.

Place in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, until a fork tender and desired crispiness is reached.


These potatoes go great with breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Yummy! I do something very similar with red potatoes and only a much smaller amount. I put mine in a bowl and pour some olive oil and then the seasonings and shake well. I put it in the oven for 20-25 minutes and they come out so crispy and tender. I love them as a side dish to chicken or steak and sometimes hamburgers. I was actually thinking about making this tonight.

YUM, love oven roasted potatoes. I will have to try adding chili powder... never thought of that! Have you ever tried Lipton Onion Soup with potatoes and oven roasting them? Quick and delicious!

These look wonderful...Being one of the main fillers in most meals I love to find something a little different to do with potatoes...I think it might be nice to add some butternut squash in with them too!!

Nice combo of spices Catherine! I love love looovvee roasted potatoes. In a pinch for time I cook them in the micro too. They cook in under 10 minutes covered with saran wrap!!

I LOVE LOVE oven fried potatoes and "Easy" in the beginning? This is amazing, definitely will try this when I visit my parents. I can't eat 5lbs of potatoes by myself :)
